The TCL-553HDOSD has dozens of user-friendly features. Using the OSD menu (and the controls conveniently located on the back of the camera) you can make adjustments to white balance, shutter, iris, video quality and more. The menu also includes a reset selection that initiates PrePro (Pre-Programmed by professionals) function, which sets the camera to optimum level for most surveillance environments. Used judiciously this feature can save the installer tons of time.

A built-in microphone captures sound at the camera location.  Auto-iris control electronics are built-in, with the standard port on the back of the camera.

Along with its other enhancements, the TCL-557HIM dome camera is equipped with a bright white deterrence LED. This strobing LED is impossible to ignore and can be set to a flashing state or turned off. This LED makes the camera impossible to overlook, especially at night. When would-be criminals realize a building or room has this camera they look elsewhere. It's also a handy way to tell you that power to your surveillance camera system is functional.

Inside this PTZ security camera you'll find a 1/3" Sony™ CCD video sensor working in conjunction with a state-of-the-art Sony™ Effio™ digital signal processor that together work to provide exceptional video at an extraordinary 700 TV-line resolution. A 5.5-66mm varifocal lens forms the optical front end of this camera and gives the user 10x optical zoom (manual).
