This mini color camera has an electronic shutter and runs on a regulated 12VDC supply (not included). It's a perfect size for making hidden cameras.
Please note this is an indoor camera and if you place it outdoors you'll have to house it in such a way as to protect it from the environment, keep it cool (or warm) and dry, etc.
